This project by Ugo Nespolo represents on a black lacquered background a linear sequence of brightly coloured figures arranged on pieces perfectly joint together like in a jigsaw puzzle, within harmoniously composed chromatic fields.
The collection of sideboards “Intarsia” is the result of the collaboration between Laurameroni design collection and the creativity of Italian craftsmen, that revive the relationship between workmanship and architecture, creating proper works of art. Intarsia presents inlay works of modern expression that take back the local tradition of this ancient technique. A collection designed to be reproduced in 33 exemplars only that are numbered, signed and certified by the author and by the enterprise.

Nesporama sideboard has brushed metal legs, inlaid push-pull doors and a matt lacquered structure. Nesporama can be fitted with one internal shelf and is also available in the hanging version.

Ugo Nespolo
Ugo Nespolo 于 1941 年出生在比耶拉省莫索，毕业于都灵美院。上世纪六十年代，他移居到纽约，被那里国际化的大都市生活所深深吸引，并着迷于新兴流行艺术，到了七十年代，他又受到概念艺术和贫困环境的影响。
他酷爱电影艺术，将在重要的海外博物馆（费城、纽约、伦敦、巴黎、科隆、北京、上海）发起具有重大意义的回顾展。他和 Mario Schifano 创立了艺术家电影院，1967 到 1968 年间他以朋友和同事（比如 Enrico Baj, Michelangelo Pistoletto 和 Lucio Fontana）为主演创作了各类电影。尽管受到美国的影响，欧洲前卫的思想仍然对他起到了很大的作用。他对设计也很感兴趣，在研究中十分重视材料的使用：木材、金属、玻璃、陶瓷、织物、宝石。因此，他的艺术与日常生活密切相关，富含哲理：“没有思考艺术就不能创作艺术。”
